Roles & Responsibilities
1.Design and develop IoT solutions using PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems to optimize industrial
processes and enhance efficiency.
2.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project objectives, and
design system architectures for IoT implementations.
3.Integrate IoT devices and sensors into automation systems, establishing connectivity and data
exchange for real-time monitoring and control.
4.Collaborate with software and hardware teams to develop custom interfaces and protocols for
seamless communication between automation systems and IoT devices.
5.Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and
performance of IoT systems.
6.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and
standard operating procedures.
7.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation, IoT, and industrial control systems to
identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
8.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients, addressing inquiries,
resolving issues, and offering recommendations for system enhancements
Experience and Skills Required
1.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
2.Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a PLC SCADA DCS Automation and IoT Engineer, with a focus on industrial automation and IoT implementations.
3.Strong knowledge and experience in PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta or other leading brands). 4.Experience in integrating IoT devices and sensors into automation systems, utilizing protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, or other industrial communication standards. 5.Familiarity with DCS platforms and their configuration in process control applications is preferred.
6.Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and cybersecurity considerations related to automation and IoT systems.
7.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in automation and IoT environments.
8.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
